REBOOTING SEQUENCE INITIATED

Come on. You know the drill by now – there's a weird twisting, and you find yourself in a strange place with no idea how you got there or why.

In this case, however, the people on the other side aren't surprised. And you're not alone. You find yourself in what seems like some nightmarish cross between an airport and a comic book convention – surrounded by strange creatures from every possible universe... and a few impossible ones. Mostly, though, you notice the huge robots towering over you: TransTechs, your new rulers, administrators, and prison-keepers.

One of these huge creatures points you to immigration. Have fun filling out five hundred forms, and learning that no, you can't go home, even though it's entirely possible to send you there. You're a person of interest, you see. You're going to be here for a very, very long time. Eventually, you're implanted with a tracking device – standard procedure, you see, and let loose into the city.

And what a city.
